Manchester translator invests £100,000 developing document portal

A Manchester based translation service has completed a £100,000 investment in a new IT portal which will make it easier and quicker to carry out work for its client base, who clients include the Department for Work and Pensions, Boots and Toshiba

The Translation People, which employs 19 people, said that clients can now upload documents which need translating directly onto its secure portal, so that work can begin on them immediately. The firm has also launched similar sites in Germany and Holland.
